CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Crowson currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of PLH Group, Inc. Mr. Crowson brings with him over 30 years of management experience in the electric power, utility and pipeline construction industries. He has a diverse background and a track record for driving growth.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Crowson was Vice President & Power Market Director for Henkels & McCoy, one of the largest privately held engineering network development and construction firms serving the communications, information technology and utility industries. Mark joined Henkels & McCoy in 2006 following a brief career as a management consultant focusing on asset management decision making. Mark worked for over 20 years at TXU and its numerous predecessor companies in various roles including distribution engineering, transmission engineering, distribution operations, region management and asset management.
Mr. Crowson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Henkels currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of PLH Group, Inc. He brings with him over 25 years of management experience successfully growing and running geographically diverse businesses in the utility and pipeline construction industries.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Henkels was Executive Vice President at Q3 Contracting, Inc., a subsidiary of Primoris Services, Inc., one of the largest publicly held construction firms in the U.S. His background also includes serving as Regional Vice President for Henkels & McCoy overseeing operations in 26 states and Canada as well as serving in President and Senior Vice President roles at subsidiary companies of Quanta Services, Inc., the largest electric and pipeline specialty contractor in North America.
Mr. Henkels holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Illinois State University and is a CPA and CMA.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Mr. Dear currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of PLH Group, Inc. He brings with him over 25 years of financial and management experience in the Oil & Gas, power generation and engineering industries. His background includes working in many different geographies around the world and across different market segments within the Energy Services business, and has a track record for growth and delivering increased shareholder value.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Dear was CFO of Wood Group Mustang, part of John Wood Group PLC (LSE: WG.), based in Houston, Texas. He was previously Group Financial Controller after initially joining WG as CFO of their Light Industrial Turbines Division in 2004, with both of the latter positions based in Aberdeen, Scotland. Prior to this, he worked in various roles in the Oil & Gas services industry with global reach, living in the UK and Europe.
Mr. Dear is a Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA/CGMA) and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School, Advanced Management Program.
CHIEF ADMINISTRATION OFFICER
Mr. Kiser currently serves as the Chief Administration Officer. He is responsible for Human Resources, Business Development and Marketing for PLH Group and its subsidiaries.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Kiser was Vice President Human Resources & Administration at CB&I’s Power Division (formerly Shaw Power, Shaw Group Inc.), a Fortune 500 company and leading global provider of engineering, construction, and fabrication services for the energy industry. Prior to Shaw, Mr. Kiser held various roles in HR and Process Improvement with Bechtel Corporation. Mr. Kiser is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Mr. Kiser holds a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management and a Master of Science in Management with concentration in Human Resources Management. Additionally, he has completed the Advanced Human Resources Executive Program at the University of Michigan. Mr. Kiser is a member of the Society Human Resources Management and is a Six Sigma Black Belt.
VICE PRESIDENT OF SAFETY, HEALTH and ENVIRONMENTAL
Mr. Downes currently serves as the Vice President of Safety, Health and Environmental for PLH Group, Inc. He brings with him over 27 years of experience in oil refining, chemical processing and manufacturing, electric generation, transmission/distribution, process instrumentation, safety systems, procedures and labor relations.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Downes was the Environmental, Health & Safety Manager for Mosaic, Co. and was previously the Safety Director for Asplundh Tree Experts. Mr. Downes has led both domestic and international environmental, safety & health teams. He has served as a member of the US Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board in Washington, DC. His experiences also include the development and implementation of incident investigation programs and associated training.
Mr. Downes holds a Master Degree in Education – Instructional Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Neumann University. He maintains the Certified Safety Professional Certification, as well as the Associate Safety Professional Certification. Barry was born and raised in the Philadelphia, PA area.
VICE PRESIDENT & GENERAL COUNSEL
Mr. Schlenker currently serves as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of PLH Group, Inc. He has more than twenty-five years of experience as a business attorney, with more than fifteen years in the construction industry.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Schlenker served as Vice President and General Counsel of Roofing Supply Group, a fast-growing nationwide distributor of construction materials. For more than a decade he served in-house with Texas Industries, then a manufacturer of construction steel, cement, and aggregate. In the 1990’s he was General Counsel of a high-tech telecommunications IPO, beginning his career as an attorney in Dallas, Brussels, and London with the international law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld.
Mr. Schlenker received a JD with honors from the University of Texas School of Law, where he was a member of the Texas Law Review. Before law school, Mr. Schlenker worked as a computer programmer, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Iowa.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
Mr. Reyero serves as the Senior Vice President Information Technology of PLH Group, Inc. Mr. Reyero brings over 30 years of management and technology consulting experience in the integrated energy, electric power, pipeline construction, manufacturing and retail industries.
Prior to joining PLH, Mr. Reyero served as a Managing Director for Protiviti, a global business consulting and internal audit firm, focusing on Process and Technology Transformation. He spent 5 years as a Technology Partner with Price Waterhouse and Arthur Andersen focusing on process reengineering and large scale system integration. Mr. Reyero worked over 12 years in industry at Diamond Shamrock Corporation, a fortune 100 integrated global energy company in various technology roles and ultimately as the CIO.
Mr. Reyero received a B.S. in Business with concentration in Math and Computer Science from Amber University and Executive M.B.A. from Harvard. He is also certified as a Six Sigma practitioner.
