PLH Group Inc. just powered up the 10th Annual Energetic Women Conference as a ‘Contributor Sponsor’ for a mobile device charging station.

With over 900 women and some lucky guys in attendance, the infrastructure construction solutions company ensured all those tablets, smartphones and laptops were as fully energized as the gals who use them. PLH Group was included in one of the six specialized categories for sponsorship – Visionary, Collaborator, Inspirer, Influencer, Contributor and Supporter, each providing a specific service for the conference ranging from Wi-Fi to a Quarterly Webinar.

The two-and-a-half day event was hosted by Midwest Energy Association (MEA) at the Hyatt Regency in Chicago, June 14 through June 16 for Energetic Women, an organization that provides professional and leadership resources for women in the natural gas and electric utility industry.

PLH Group attendees included Air2 President Sunita Khorana, R.B. Hinkle Construction, Inc. President Dina Holstead, Apprenticeship Program LAP & PDP – Manager, Kathy Williamson and PLH Group COO, Tom Henkels. “It was a solid conference with some really great speakers,” Khorana said. Their favorite speakers were Justin Patton and Cy Wakeman who were rated ‘1’ and ‘2’ by the four PLH Group attendees. Khorana adds “interestingly, Tom voted for Cy as number one and the ladies, Justin!”
