PLH Group Joins Discussion on the Future of the Electric Power Industry
Date: October 29, 2021

The COVID-19 global pandemic created a world-wide storm that was unlike any other that the electric power industry has experienced. Though their work was more crucial than ever, electric transmission structures (ETS) companies had to adapt their operations while continuing to ensure safe, quality, and reliable performance and delivery. So how did the ETS industry do during this tumultuous time? What does the future hold for the industry? Join industry experts, including PLH Group’s Executive Vice President of Business Development Bill Sales, as they respond to these questions during ETS Powering Past the Pandemic on November 3.
ETS companies – like PLH Group’s electric power entities Power Line Services, Edison Power, Auger Services, Air2, R.B. Hinkle, TESSCO Energy, TTR Substations, and Sun Electric — are responsible for construction, repair, and maintenance of the nation’s electric power infrastructure. On November 3, American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) will host PLH Group’s Bill Sales and other industry experts for an in-depth discussion about struggles the industry faced over the last year and half, as well as the future of the industry. Topics to be discussed include innovation and best practices, health and safety, supply chain, remote work, technology, training, relationships and trust, and new businesses. Tuning in to the live session will earn viewers 1.5 professional development hours (PDHs). Viewers can also join by registering for the post-event recording (no PDHs) which can be viewed from November 19 through December 17.
“I think it’s so important for us to share what we learned over the past year and half with the rest of the industry. Discussions like this – though they are challenging – turn our struggles into opportunities and better prepare companies for the future,” said Bill Sales. “I’m honored that they asked me to be part of the panel representing PLH Group. I look forward to the discussions we will have and am certain that our learnings will better position the industry for the future, ensuring safe and reliable electric power throughout the nation.”
Register for the live ETS Powering Past the Pandemic discussion by November 1 to receive 1.5 PDH or sign up for recorded viewing by November 10. Don’t miss #ETSPoweredUp to keep your business on the forefront of the industry.
