PLH Group Executive Lacy Kiser Honored with Hart Energy Award for Industry Veterans
Date: December 21, 2021

Lacy Kiser impacts the work of the PLH Group organization every day in his role as Chief Administration Officer. But that’s not all he does. He has also made a significant impact on our nation, as well. Hart Energy recognized Lacy with the “Impactful Veterans in Energy” honor, recognizing his significant contribution to the advancement of the energy industry coupled with his commitment to serving the people of the United States.
PLH Group is an industry-leading, energy-focused construction contractor that serves the electric power line, pipeline, oil field electrical, and industrial markets. Comprised of some of the industry’s top companies, PLH Group safely provides comprehensive energy solutions that are delivered with quality and expertise. With a company of this scope, it is not a small task to lead all marketing communications, risk management, and human resources efforts. But for someone with Lacy Kiser’s background, it’s a challenge for which he is prepared.
Lacy joined the military out of high school, following in the footsteps of family members before him. He joined the United States Marine Corps and became a bulk fuel specialist and a marine security embassy guard.

After serving his military duties, he achieved a bachelor of science in organizational management, a master of science in management with a concentration in human resources management, and an advanced human resources executive certification. Lacy credits his experience in the Marines for his continued success in the energy industry.
“Veterans bring a wellhead of training on how to adapt, pivot and be agile to ensure success in the mission, skills that are critical in our environment. Additionally, the ability to persevere through the ups and downs of a task or mission is a trait that translates extremely well to the industry,” he said.
Hart Energy’s Impactful Veterans in Energy program recognizes our nation’s heroes who are making a significant impact in the energy industry. Nominees are considered based on their demonstrated leadership skills and contributions to advancing a company’s mission or its long-term success.
Lacy added, “The leadership skills instilled, whether it was self-leadership as an individual contributor or the skills to lead others with courage and compassion, have carried through and help me every day.”
PLH Group is a proud employer of U.S. military veterans, as well as a consistent supporter of the military community through programs such as Warrior Wellness Solutions, which trains, educates, and empowers service-disabled veterans and wounded, ill, and injured (WII) active-duty members and their caregivers with the assistance of holistic and functional medicine health coaches.
