The full compliment of workplace violence is staggering in its width and breadth. The real danger lies in its unchecked potential as it escalates. PLH Group is bringing heightened awareness to this sometimes silent and yet potentially deadly problem during OSHA’s National Safe + Sound Week; 12^th – 18^th in August.

Workplace violence can begin quietly, secretively even, usually with some form of harassment. It can be layered with things like hindered work progress, bullying, threats, verbal abuse, stalking, serious violence or even death. Often times the victim doesn’t see the end dangers and is afraid to report seemingly minor and early offenses, unaware that persons who are willing to do these behaviors have the potential to escalate. Core values at PLH Group have always deemed these behaviors as unacceptable and are addressed  at any level. In the second week of August, they will bring it into the light once again along with all preventable, unsafe workplace practices during 2019’s Safe + Sound Week.
