Lineman’s Rodeo: Here We Come!
Date: October 13, 2021

The International Lineman’s Rodeo and Expo isn’t your average tradeshow. The rodeo attracts the best linemen and linewomen throughout the world to compete in traditional electric power skills and tasks, while the premier industry tradeshow focuses on innovation, discovery, education, and connection. Running from October 13 -16, 2021 in Overland Park, Kansas, the 37th annual event welcomes electric utility professionals from around the world for four days of cutting-edge best practices, technology, and services. PLH Group will see you there!
The tradeshow floor, which opens on Thursday, October 14, will consist of more than 150 of the industry’s leading manufacturers, suppliers, and companies – like PLH Group. The rodeo and expo focus on safety, innovation, and performance. PLH Group – who also prioritizes these values – employs some of the best linemen in the industry. Electric Segment Business Development Vice President Dan Vega will be at booth #127 to greet these elite competitors and other electric utility professionals.
The rodeo portion of the event takes place all day on October 16. Teams must successfully complete three challenges: Hurtman Rescue, Pole Climb, and two mystery events. The apprenticeship competition includes these events plus a written test. This intense skills competition prioritizes safety and innovation while ensuring fun for all attendees. After a day of competition, awards are presented during a celebratory banquet.
PLH Group wishes good luck to all participants. Don’t forget to stop by booth #127 to talk to PLH Group’s Dan Vega!
