PLH Group Participates in National Safety Council’s National Safety Month
Date: June 23, 2020
The National Safety Council –a U.S.-based home and workplace safety advocate organization– dedicates an entire month every year to focusing on injury prevention and life-saving efforts. This month-long initiative looks a little different this year. Throughout the month of June, the National Safety Council is discussing relevant and timely health and safety topics to keep workers safe in this COVID-19 environment– and PLH Group teams have joined them.
Due to the current global pandemic, it is more important than ever to be especially mindful of the health and wellness of employees. Our new normal –which includes higher stress levels, alternate workplaces and schedules, and changes to work site processes– presents heightened risks that have the potential to interfere with the overall safety and well-being of workers and the community.
The NSC wants to mitigate these risks. Therefore, during National Safety Month this June, the organization has provided real-time resources on topics to keep workers safe while mitigating the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus

As a leading, full-service power line construction, pipeline construction, and specialty contractor serving the electric power line, pipeline, oil field electrical, and industrial markets, PLH Group’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic reaffirms its continued commitment to employees, customers, and communities served. The topics for National Safety Month, which include mental health, ergonomics, building a safety culture, and driving, are all continued topics of discussion throughout PLH Group’s 11 entities.
With profound risks navigating this new normal, the current time is more important than ever to be mindful of the health and wellness of employees, customers, and communities served. We must work together to keep each other safe, healthy, and out of harm’s way. Join PLH Group in participating in NSC’s National Safety Month.
