On January 1, 2016 the PLH Las Colinas office began a recycling program for office items – printer cartridges, toner, batteries, laptop batteries, electronics, cell phones.

We’d like to help our other SBU offices in setting up recycling programs as well. Here are some links that can help you get started.

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources reports that people in the U.S. throw away 13 million ink jet cartridges each year. While 97 percent of the components used in an ink cartridge can be recycled, roughly 95 percent of cartridges end up in landfills.
