Women’s Resource Group Lends a Hand to Local Non-profit
Often times, the greatest and most productive humanitarian work that persists quietly—day in and day out—remains unseen; even unsung. Yet often, it is that exact work which does the most good and changes the most lives.
That is the premise under which The Women’s Resource Group (WRG) at PLH Group sprang into action on January 31st as they volunteered their time and energy to a cause they consistently support: Irving Cares in Irving, Texas.

The men and women of the PLH Women’s Resource Group worked in two shifts at Irving Cares on Friday; 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. The team assisted in the food pantry by unpacking boxes of donated items, restocking shelves and shopping in their “store” for families as they arrive to request groceries.
“It’s rewarding work, and it’s contagious…” says Teresa Tsung, Senior Director Project Controls and WRG Chairperson who organizes these events periodically throughout the year. In December of 2019, the group held a holiday donation drive which was very successful.

Paying it forward is part of the culture at PLH Group—a Texas company that provides energy infrastructure solutions to the North American electric and pipeline industries.
